This week in Episode #8 of the Forest Park High School (FP) Football Show Head Coach John Robinette and Host Rusty Byrd review game 9 of the season against Colgan HS. In this Rt 234 rivalry game, the FPHS Bruins defeated the Colgan Sharks 43-28 behind a talented offensive line and great running by senior RB-Landon Hunt. Hunt rushed for over 250 yards and scored 6 touchdowns. We also preview the Bruins final regular game against Spriggs Road rival Hylton HS. Landon Hunt is one of the top running backs in the region. Nathaniel Wright is a 3-star offensive tackle who has committed to Va Tech. Brandon Edozie is also one of the top offensive linemen in the state who has committed to Liberty University for next fall. This week in Episode #6 of the Forest Park High School Football Show Head Coach John Robinette and Host Rusty Byrd review games 4 and 5 of the season. Game 4 was a tough 34-11 loss to Varina HS down in Richmond. However, in game five, the Bruins get a big 42-7 win against district rival Potomac High School. In the Potomac game, Landon Hunt had 25 carries for 134 yards while Antonio Jones had 5 carries for 80 yards, 1 TD, and an interception. We also preview the Bruins sixth game of the season against another district rival, two-time defending VHSL Class 6 football state champion Freedom-Woodbridge HS. We also preview the Bruins fourth game of the season against 804 Powerhouse Varina HS. In this episode we also meet the Forest Park Defensive Coordinator Coach Denny.
